Welcome to the CAA championship!

Mar 16, 2014, 12:11 PM EDT

It’s championship day  featuring No. 1 James Madison (27-5) vs. No. 2 Delaware (20-9) at The Show Place Arena.

It’s the fourth straight title game for Delaware, which has won the last two. That means senior Kelsey Buchanan has played in the championship game every year of her career.

JMU holds the edge in the series 14-13 and the Dukes swept the regular season. Delaware is 1-3 against JMU in the CAA Tournament. JMU last won in 2011, defeating Delaware 67-61.

JMU coach Kenny Brooks is going for his 280th career victory today; Blue Hens Coach Tina Martin is looking for her 362nd win.

Hard to hear anything but “Let’s Go Hens” in the house, which is a mere 90 minutes south of Newark, Del.

From the JMU band, this sign: “Delle-Nowhere.”
