Halftime: Delaware 38, Hofstra 27

Mar 16, 2013, 2:56 PM EDT

No sluggish start by Delaware in Saturday’s semifinal. Delaware, which scored just 15 before the break in Friday’s quarterfinal against Wilmington, is shooting 40 percent. Elena Delle Donne leads the way with 11 points and six boards.

This side note: Delle Donne has now become the 13th player in Division I ball to score 2,900 points.

Three-ball keeping Hofstra in the game, including a beauty by Andreana Thomas at the buzzer that sent the Pride charged up into the locker room.

Pride has drained five treys by four different players: Asia Jackson has a pair; Sydni Epps, Annie Payton and Thomas each has one.

Jackson’s six leading a balanced Pride effort.
