Halftime: UNCW 20, Delaware 15

Mar 15, 2013, 12:59 PM EST

Credit UNCWfor a terrific half of basketball.

The Seahawks limited top-seeded Delaware to 21 percent shooting and a abysmal stretch when the Hens went 12:55 without a field goal.

The ninth seeds, playing just five players for the second game in a row, shot 36 percent behind 9 points from Kelva Atkins, who drained a 3 at the buzzer. Elena Delle Donne was limited to four points on 2-of-6 points.

Betting nobody was pleased to be in the locker room with Hens coach Tina Martin. Meanwhile, kudos to the Seahawks for sending Delaware into the locker room trailing in a league game for the first time this season
