Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra Women’s Basketball program has had quite a bit of success in recent years and that success has translated into six former Pride women’s basketball student-athletes playing professional basketball.

The six former players currently active include:
Candice Bellocchio
 (Club Atletico Faenza; Italy)
Jess Fuller
 (Falcon; Denmark)
Vanessa Gidden
 (Gea Magazzini Alcamo; Italy)
Marie Malone
 (Sisu Copenhagen; Denmark)
Lizanne Murphy
(Pays D’aix Basket 13 Provence; France)
Niki Williams
 (Elitzur Netanya; Israel)

“I couldn’t be more excited to watch the professional careers of our former players develop,” commented Head Coach Krista Kilburn-Steveskey.  “Their careers have taken them on journeys they could only dream about as kids and we are thrilled that this wonderful game of basketball has allowed them to experience so much.”
